Empowering partnership

Support that builds independence

Our aim is simple: you should feel able to lead with AI without us. We combine education, advisory support, and co-development so your team can make confident decisions on their own.

Partnership, not hand-off

We don’t just deliver a report or dashboard and leave. We walk alongside your team, build skills and confidence, and gradually step back as you take the lead.

Knowledge transfer first

Every piece of work comes with sessions, guides and examples so your team can run and adapt it confidently.

Internal champions

We help you spot and support the people in your organisation who can become trusted go-to voices on AI.

Strategic, not sales-driven

Our advice is shaped by your goals, not by a particular tool or vendor. We stay focused on what makes sense for your organisation in the long term.

How we like to work

Co-design, not dictate

We build plans with you, not for you. Your knowledge of your organisation comes first.

Human-centred

We design around your people, their confidence levels and their day-to-day work, not just around the technology.

Sustainable pace

We prefer steady, manageable progress over big-bang launches that are hard to maintain.

Not sure where to start?

Many of our clients began with the same question. A short conversation is often the easiest way to uncover a simple, low-risk first step.

From confusion to clarity

It’s completely normal to feel behind with AI. Most leaders we speak to worry about “missing the wave” while also not wanting to chase every new tool. Our role is to slow things down, give you clear language and show you what matters for your context.

Plain-English explanations

We avoid jargon and keep conversations grounded in real examples from your team's work.

Business-first approach

We start with your goals, bottlenecks and people. AI is a means to an end, not the story in itself.

Supportive learning environment

No question is too basic. We create space for people to ask, try things out and learn together without judgement.

Success stories

From “I’m terrified of AI” to “I can do this”

Here are a few examples of how leaders and teams have gone from nervous and unsure to confident and creative in how they use AI day to day.

"Craig's Prompt Engineering course was nothing short of transformative. The 3 days were full of lightbulb moments and clarity in a way that you can only experience when sitting in the training room."

"What stood out was the trainer's ability to break down complex concepts into simple, practical steps that I could immediately apply across my organisation. The insights streamlined my workflow, improved project work, and helped me share knowledge across the senior leadership team."

"I learned how to craft precise prompts through priming and contextualising, producing highly relevant and actionable responses. This training is a must for anyone looking to harness the full potential of AI."

"I attended Craig's Prompt Engineering course which was spread over 3 days and was everything I had hoped it would be and much more. It was very informative and after each session I was left eager as the possibilities of how this would transform my way of working."

"Craig took the time to explain everything clearly and in bite size portions so you did not have the feeling of being overwhelmed. We learned how to prompt and prime, dance (!) and ask questions to get responses that are game changing."

"I dabbled in AI before this course but now I feel confident using AI to its potential and cannot wait to share the knowledge with the rest of the team. The sessions flew by and I am so pleased I chose this course, it was so worth it."

"Craig is outstanding in the way he runs his course. It was engaging, hands-on, and fun. Thank you for a great course and for making it so engaging and fun!"

Common questions

Questions we’re often asked

What makes Hartz AI different from other AI consultancies?

We start from where you are, not from a pre-set solution. Our work blends training, advisory, fractional leadership and delivery, with a strong focus on handing over knowledge so you can carry things forward without us.

Who is Hartz AI for?

We mainly work with UK small and medium-sized organisations, typically 10–250 employees. Many are in professional services, sport, charities, healthcare, education or real estate, but the common thread is a desire to use AI in a thoughtful, human way.

Do you build custom AI tools or bespoke solutions?

Yes. For some clients we design private GPTs, internal assistants and tailored automations. These are always built around your processes, systems and risk profile, not just dropped in as a generic app.

Do you offer a fractional Chief AI Officer service?

We do. Our fractional Chief AI Officer service gives you senior AI leadership without a full-time salary. It’s a good fit if you want someone to own the strategy, governance and direction while your internal capability grows.

Do we need technical expertise to work with you?

No. Most of the teams we work with have little or no technical background. We design sessions, examples and tools with that in mind, and build confidence gradually.

How long does it take to see results from AI?

It varies by organisation, but many see practical benefits within the first month of implementation through time savings and reduced rework. Larger programmes typically show clear impact over three to six months.

How do you measure success?

We look at practical indicators: hours saved, cost reductions, error rates, cycle times and changes in confidence. You’ll get a clear view of what’s working and what needs adjusting.

What happens during the discovery call?

It’s a relaxed 15-minute call. We’ll ask a few questions about your organisation, listen to what’s on your mind, and outline one or two possible starting points. You can then decide, in your own time, whether it makes sense to move forward.
